Byford makes it official; he's a Cornhusker

Brett Byford knew when it all started, ultimately, it was not his decision.
He would leave it to God as to where he would go for the next few years to play football.
Perhaps the good Lord is a Cornhusker fan.
Byford, the highly-recruited offensive lineman from Hartselle, committed to play football for Nebraska last week.
An easy choice, he said.
"I wanted to follow God," Byford said. "Doing that has made this a lot less stressful. I never worried about this decision at all. Without Him, I wouldn't have ended up at Nebraska. I wouldn't have had a clue where to start."
Byford disappointed several other schools with the decision, including the likes of South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech and Clemson, who all offered the 6-4,290-pounder a scholarship.
Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Indiana and Memphis also offered, but Byford wanted home to be in Lincoln, Nebraska.
