Funeral for Alonzo "Lonzo" Carlton Ransom, 79, of Hartselle was Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church with the Rev. Don Trosper officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Ransom died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, in Hartselle. He was a native of Madison County.
He is survived by two brothers, James Ransom of Hartselle and Woodrow Ransom of Somerville; and two sisters, Birdie Hillard of Harvest and Margaret Cobble of Huntsville.
Pallbearers were Cecil Transom, Kenneth Ransom, Johnny Lott, Jason Ransom, Willard McCutcheon and Dusty Ransom.
