Memorial service for Ople Nethery Lee, 67, of Covington, Ga., formerly of Morgan County, was Monday, Dec. 9, at her residence with the Rev. J. B. Leachman officiating, and Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Lee died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at her home. A native of Morgan County, she was the sister of the late Vernie Nethery, Louie Nethery, Emmet Nethery Jr., Clara Looney, Beatrice McClanahan and Ruth Golden.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan Lee of Covington, Ga., two daughters, Gail Ruffner of North Carolina and Celeste Harris of South Carolina; three brothers, Demp Nethery and Hillrey Nethery, both of Hartselle and William Nethery of Danville; two sisters, Margaret Higginbotham of Hartselle and Olene Smith of Danville; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
