HHS class of 1982 holds reunion

Hartselle High School's class of 82 held its 20th year reunion picnic at Sparkman Park on Oct. 5.
Class president Chad Williamson welcomed the group, as well as recognizing the military classmates, and a moment of silence for the deceased classmates members.
Mary Melson-Legg provided a cake, which was decorated with tiger paws. Karen Kemp-Brakefield provided a memoriam bouquet with red and white carnations and a framed print of names of deceased classmates ,as well as a honorarium listing names of military classmates complete with red,white,and blue bunting and flags.
Karla Townsend-Ellis provided signs for picnic tables, which were decorated with red tableclothes, baskets of candy and balloons.
Ice and drinks were provided by Phillip Mabrey, Joanna Nicholson-Haggamaker, Cambia Nicholson-Bailey, Donna Cobb-Coleman and many others, as well as assisting in decorating, setup and cleanup. Bubbles, board games, and other games were supplied for the children who attended and a group picture was made.
