Funeral for Lola Brooks Halbrooks, 70, of Hartselle was Thursday, Oct. 24, at 3:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Smallwood officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Halbrooks died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. A native of Morgan County, she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and retired in 1995 as a cook for Meals on Wheels in Decatur.
She is survived by three sons, Lemuel Halbrooks and Wayne Halbrooks, both of Hartselle and Ivan Halbrooks of Falkville; one daughter, Elese Collins of Scottsville, Ky.; two brothers, Leldon Brooks and Prentis Brooks, both of Falkville; one sister, Alma Rapp of Mobile; 10 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Halbrooks, Dusty Halbrooks, Derek Halbrooks, Rodney Collins, Lloyd Brooks and Jerry Bates.
