Funeral for infant Melody Rain Norman of Hartselle was Sunday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Thomas officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Cemetery.
Melody died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Children's Hospital in Boston. She was born March 14, 2002, in Morgan County.
She is survived by her parents, Peter and Sonja Norman of Hartselle; one brother, Jacob Smith of Tallahassee; paternal grandparents, Tommy and Deborah Norman of Hartselle; maternal grandfather, Jeff Long of Battleground; maternal grandmother, Pam Long of Speake; great grandmothers, Shirley Crowe of East Lawrence and Patricia Fox of Nashville; great grandfathers, Avery Long of Moulton and Joe Thomas of Hartselle; great grandparents, W.D. and Ruby Norman of Hartselle; and great great grandmother, Marie Treadway of Moulton.
Pallbearers were Tommy Norman, Jason Norman, Christopher Thomas, T.J. Russell, Avery Long and Phillip Peden.
