Local residents named to honor's list

Several local residents were recently named to academic honors lists at The University of Alabama and the University of North Alabama.
Jessie Thomas Hanvey of Eva and Richard Patrick Clemons of Hartselle were named to the president's list at UA, signifying they had earned a 4.0 grade point average.
Joshua Rooker was named to the dean's list.
To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a GPA of at least 3.5.
Also, several local residents were among those recently named to the dean's list at the University of North Alabama.
Among those named to the dean's list were: Amanda Stimmel and Cresha Lynn Demonia of Falkville; Crystal Marie Alexander and Melodie Shay McCaigh of Hartselle.
