Funeral for April VanVoorst, 16, of Danville was Sunday, Sept. 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Craig Johnston, Jon Harbin and Tim Hood officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Miss VanVoorst died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was a junior at Danville High School and a member of Christian Life Center in Decatur.
She is survived by her parents, Ben and Jill VanVoorst of Danville; two brothers, Benjamin Earl VanVoorst, and Eric Henry VanVoorst; and her grandparents, Mary Ballard of Geneva and Dan and LuElla Hood of Valparaiso, Ind.
Pallbearers were John Elliott, Craig Terry, Tim Hood, Nick Blevins, Brian Licko and Ray Blevins.
