Funeral for Helen Landers Bean, 73, of Hartselle was Monday, August 26, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bean died Friday, August 23, 2002 at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham. A native of Danville, she was a retired office manager for State Farm Insurance Co. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Bean of Hartselle; one son, Barry Bean of Lebanon, Tenn.; two daughters, Monica Watts of Atlanta, Ga. and Joan Bean of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six brothers, Howard Landers and Earl Landers, both of Decatur, Murray Landers, Percy Landers and Doyle Landers, all of Hartselle and Don Landers of Hatton; two sisters, Christine Lovelady of Decatur and Willa Aldridge of Moulton; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Blake Watts, Joel Watts, Jerrold Landers, Ronnie Lovelady, Tommy Lovelady and Michael Landers.
