A high flying trampoline show and BMX bike exhibition are just two of the new events planned for this year's Depot Days festival.
Depot Days is scheduled for Sept. 22-28, with a week full of activities for all ages on the agenda.
Hartselle Depot Days Chairman Susan Hines said she is looking forward to this year's festival, which includes some changes from recent years.
"I'm excited because of all the new attractions that have not been in this area, as well as the wonderful selection of crafters and entertainment," she said. "I'm really excited about the possibilities and the growth."
Events will get under way Sept. 22 with a community worship service at 6:30 p.m. at the Hartselle Tabernacle. The service will feature the Community Mass Choir.
On Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m., "A Walk Down Memory Lane" will open at the depot. This year's exhibit will cover the history of the railroad.
On Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. special music will be presented at EARTH Park. Residents are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and picnic baskets and enjoy the music.
Depot Day's main day will be Aug. 28 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
This year, the entertainment will include the Max-Air Trampoline show and a BMX bike exhibition featuring world-champion riders.
Other entertainment on that Saturday will be a car, truck and motorcycle show, a 5K and one mile fun run, craft show, art show and children's art show, train set exhibits, antique tractor and gasoline engine show and much more.
The official Depot Days program will be in the Aug. 19 edition of the Enquirer.
