Funeral for William Thomas "Bill" Mooneyham, Jr., 79, of Somerville was Monday, July 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Union Church of Christ with Roger Banks officiating.
Burial was in Eva Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Mooneyham died Friday, July 26, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center. A native of Morgan County, he was a member of Union Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II where he served with the 251st Field Artillery Battalion.
He is survived by his wife, Clo Mooneyham of Somerville; one son, David Mooneyham of Somerville; four daughters, Carolyn Henson and Kathy Earwood, both of Somerville, and Betty Ryan and Billie Bennett, both of Eva; two sisters, Irene Kelly of Crossville, Tenn. and Margaret Goree of Somerville; 15 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Cory Henson, Reggie Ryan, Eric Earwood, Grant Bennett, Matthew Mooneyham and Brett Mooneyham.
