Funeral for David Roden, 46, of Somerville, was Wednesday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Homer Jones and Donald Dugger officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Roden died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at his residence. A native of Morgan Country, he was employed with Morgan County Commission District 1 for 11 years. He was the brother of the late Tommy Roden.
He is survived by his wife, Hannah Roden of Somerville; two sons, Corey Roden of Baileyton and Greg Murray of Russellville; one daughter, Angelia Short of Somerville; four brothers, Kenneth Roden and Wayne Roden, both of Hartselle, Robert Roden of Moulton and Adam Roden of Colorado; two sisters, Shirley Smith of Hartselle and Susan Greer of South Carolina; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jim White, Irvin White, Jeff Clark, Rod Johnson, Billy Aday and Wayne Aday.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
