Funeral for Josephine Elizabeth Hudgins, 74, of Eva, was Wednesday, July 3, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Stinson officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hudgins died Monday, July 1, 2002, at Cooper Green Hospital in Birmingham. A native of Morgan County, she was a homemaker and sister of the late Lovick Cloer, Arlie Cloer, Buford Cloer, Dema Childers and Georgia Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, Abraham Hudgins of Eva; two sons, Abraham Hudgins and George Hudgins, both of Eva; four sisters, Gladis Campbell of Falkville, Jamie Tenneyson of Decatur, and Verdie Hudgins and Myrtie Nelson, both of Eva; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ted Hudgins, J.L. Hudgins, Howard Childers, Herbert Hudgins, Adam Hudgins and Hobery May.
