KKK, pagans net Hartselle some press

Funeral for Martha Wallace Patterson, 84, of Hartselle was Friday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. T. Reynolds Hall officiating.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Patterson died Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she worked in the church nursery for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, William Richard Patterson of Hartselle; two sons, William Anthony Patterson of Oakman and Ronald Steven Patterson of Andalusia; one daughter, Vanessa Marie Nesmith of Hartselle; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Nathan Patterson, Justin Nesmith, Bryan Patterson, Dwight Standridge, Hamil Lawrence and Corey Loney.
