Funeral for Vivian Nell French, 75, of Decatur, was Saturday, May 25 at 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Smith and Gene Langford officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. French died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital.
She was the former owner and operator of Nell's French Bakery, employed by GMAC Real Estate and formerly employed by Office Park Realty. She was a member of Austinville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James R. (George) French of Decatur; two daughters, Jennie McCormick of Atlanta, Ga. and Carol Stewart of Birmingham; two sisters, Mary Ruth Cross and Faye Sparkman, both of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Danny Cross, Johnny Cross, Randy Sparkman, Alan Sparkman, Phil Daniel and Billy Daniel.
